About the Special Issue:
The Blockchain is a distributed data structure implementing cryptographic mechanisms ensuring that the information cannot be tampered. Since its introduction in 2009 along with Bitcoin, Blockchains have successfully led not only to the appearance of new cryptocurrencies but also to the development of innovative and successful applications. Along with the advances in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain is called to revolutionize many different industries, where reliable and scalable data management are critical in the day-to-day business.
In this special issue we expect innovative works exploring new frontiers combining the Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence disciplines. Both theoretical contributions and innovative applications are welcome.
