We are pleased to share two fascinating news for us. We hope it will be interesting for you.
The first news is that we have published an article about generative AI: "What Do We Mean by GenAI? A Systematic Mapping of The Evolution, Trends, and Techniques Involved in Generative AI". Since the end of 2022, tools such as ChatGPT, Dall-E or Midjourney have allowed democratized access to what most call Generative Artificial Intelligence. However, this concept needs a universally accepted definition, leading to possible misunderstandings. While a model that produces any output can technically be viewed as generative, researchers often reserve the term for complex models that generate high-quality human-like material. This paper analyzes 631 solutions published in the last five years to improve, understand and characterize generative AI.
And the second news is that we have received an award for our work to promote R+D+I in Artificial Intelligence in Spain and LATAM, granted by the Free Software R+D Foundation (FIDESOL).
